Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been quite vocal about keeping his personal life private, especially in recent months, criticizing those attempting to pry into it. He mentioned being married to a woman who values her privacy and tries to maintain some boundaries amidst the public scrutiny.

Interestingly, in a report from The Athletic, Rodgers shared that he received advice from his 20-year-old step-sister, Mia, regarding his decision to sign with the Steelers. “You really have to consult her,” he joked, adding, “I mean, I’ve made a lot of money; money isn’t everything.”

The four-time MVP is married to Britanni, yet not much else about her is publicly known, as Rodgers seems hesitant to share personal details. He referred to the “sick society” of paparazzi in an interview, lamenting over their invasive behavior.

In his own words, he expressed concern about the lack of decency from those trying to invade his private life, making it clear he values discretion. “It’s just bizarre to me. I don’t want to be scrutinized like this, and we’ve set boundaries,” he said. He emphasized that his wife, who doesn’t engage with social media, prefers to keep a low profile as well.

Rodgers also voiced his displeasure regarding the expectations for celebrities, feeling that they should have some semblance of a private life. “There really should be some respect for personal boundaries,” he mentioned, questioning why it feels so hard to separate his professional from personal life.

As for his career, Rodgers signed a one-year contract worth approximately $13.65 million with the Steelers. He hinted that the upcoming season might be his last, and the team is building a supporting cast aimed at playoff success.

In related news, the Steelers have bolstered their roster, adding receivers DK Metcalf and Robert Woods, alongside tight end Jonus Miss. They made some significant trades, including swapping Minka Fitzpatrick for Jalen Ramsey and acquiring Darius Slay and Juan Thornhill, along with drafting Derrick Harmon.
