Jelly Roll acknowledges WWE wrestlers before SummerSlam 2025 at MetLife Stadium

Country music artist Jelly Roll is gearing up for tag team matches at Summerslam this weekend, joining WWE star Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.

Having made an appearance at WrestleMania 41 back in April, Jelly Roll recently stepped into the ring, attempting to assist Orton during attacks from McIntyre and Paul.

In a notable moment during Saturday night’s main event, the 6-foot-1 musician landed a dropkick right in McIntyre’s face.

Just before Summerslam, on “Friday Night Smackdown,” Jelly Roll also executed a black hole slam against Paul, making the most of his time in the ring.

He’s clear about his appreciation for wrestling, insisting it’s as real as it gets. “These men and women put their bodies on the line… I understand that I’ve been there… get up,” he expressed, pointing out that there’s nothing fake about landing on plywood in front of thousands.

He humorously mentioned that he inadvertently broke “Pinky Week’s” training, highlighting the ongoing challenges wrestlers face.

Jelly Roll acknowledged that having Orton in his corner gave him the “courage” to perform at Summerslam.

Orton, too, praised Jelly Roll for managing the growing attention in recent weeks. “It’s well-known that Jelly Roll is an incredible person. He makes time for everyone, regardless of who they are,” Orton remarked, recalling how Jelly Roll took a moment to meet his wife during a hectic rehearsal schedule for The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

“He’s a hard worker and truly an amazing individual,” Orton added.

Summerslam is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
