A huge fight broke out among female fans in the bleachers at WWE Summerslam in New Jersey.
This chaotic scene unfolded early during the highly anticipated event at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, with at least six wrestling enthusiasts caught up in the fray, as shown in current footage.
In the video, one woman clad in a black t-shirt seems to grab her elbow to throw it at another woman wearing a white tank top.
The fan in black starts delivering body blows to the woman in a red skirt, who still has her hair being pulled back.
Meanwhile, some male fans were attempting to separate the woman in the red skirt from the conflict.
However, another man stepped in from behind and pulled him away.
The brawl eventually came to an end when several security guards in orange shirts intervened, effectively halting the violence.
The woman in the red skirt is seen kicking the male fan who had tried to pull her away, angrily pointing at him just as the clip concludes.
It’s still unclear how this unexpected chaos ignited.
Aside from WrestleMania, this two-night event in East Rutherford is WWE’s most significant showcase, with Summerslam tickets starting at over $400.
Throughout the weekend, fans witnessed high-intensity action and drama in the ring.
Cody Rhodes triumphed over legendary John Cena, reclaiming the WWE Championship in a dramatic street fight, marking Rhodes’ second title reign after his previous win at WrestleMania 40.
In the aftermath of his shocking defeat, Cena stood in the ring as the crowd reacted with another twist.
Brock Lesnar’s music blared, signaling his stunning return after a long absence, and he hit Cena with his signature F5 move, setting the stage for a future match involving the “Peacemaker” star.
This was Lesnar’s first WWE appearance since facing a civil lawsuit, which was filed against Vince McMahon by his former employee, Janelle Grant.
Lesnar had been somewhat of a pariah in WWE circles lately, with his merchandise removed from the WWE Shop, as well as certain playable characters from the WWE 2K24 video games.
There were speculations he would return during the 2024 Royal Rumble, but those plans fizzled out once the lawsuit news emerged.
McMahon has refuted the claims made against him, with his lawyer labeling the allegations as an “Advertising Stunt.”
Earlier that evening, WWE showcased a video tribute to Hulk Hogan at MetLife Stadium.
The tribute concluded with Hogan’s iconic “Real American” theme song, during which his son, Nick Hogan, was seen wiping away tears as the crowd cheered.
Hogan, born Terry Borea, passed away from a heart attack on July 24th.
