Savannah Chrisley Speaks Out Against Online Hate

Savannah Chrisley is openly addressing the negativity she’s faced on social media.

Recently, she took to Instagram to share a distressing message received after President Donald Trump granted clemency to her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley. “Imagine saying something silly to someone…” she reflected, accompanying her story with screenshots of the comment.

A user had called her “The Unpleasant Magazine Pig,” adding, “It seems crazy that you don’t have to work for anything in your life.”

Chrisley Family Dynamics

The siblings of Todd and Julie are feeling betrayed, expressing a sense of loss regarding their last name.

Interestingly, Savannah has not spoken about any personal changes, but the commenter brought up speculation about her. “Hopefully suspect,” they wrote.

Trump’s pardon in May followed the couple’s federal convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion, during which they served time behind bars. After two and a half years, Todd Chrisley was released from prison.

Savannah described the pardon as “literally coming out of nowhere” in a conversation with reporters on May 28. “I was in such shock and adoration as the president himself took the time to say that my family was coming back together,” she shared.

Family Ties and Tensions

In a sneak peek of the upcoming show “Chrisleys: Return to Reality,” Savannah and her siblings have been vocal about the perceived betrayal from within the family, particularly relating to the couple’s 2022 conviction.

“The prosecutor read a letter Lindsay wrote to the FBI. We are no longer family. We are losing our last name,” Savannah lamented on camera.

Grayson Chrisley added a poignant remark, “I mean, your blood will mess you up, and then strangers will definitely be.”

Savannah also reflected on the current state of the family dynamic, saying, “Our home is completely divided. I told my parents I didn’t know if it could be fixed.” It’s a complicated situation, and there’s a lot still left unresolved.

The estrangement began years ago, in 2012, when Lindsay Chrisley distanced herself from the family, fully exiting “Chrisley Knows Best” in 2017. She’s been candid about the challenges associated with the family name over time.

In fact, during a March episode of “Southern Tea,” Lindsay mentioned her long absence from the family, saying, “The last time I visited my dad was probably… the start of last year? I can’t even remember honestly.”

She further revealed, “I’ve never been to Lexington to visit Julie,” highlighting the rift that’s only grown deeper over the years.
