Brooke Hogan Explains Decision to Remove Herself from Hulk Hogan’s Will

Brooke Hogan recently shared her reasons for stepping away from her father Hulk Hogan’s will in 2023.

On a show hosted by former friend Bubba The Love Sponge, she stated, “I’m pregnant with twins now and married. My husband’s family is very kind and sweet. Honestly, money isn’t what matters.” She added that the whole situation made her emotional, expressing, “I cried and felt it would be best to let it all go.”

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Borea, sadly passed away on July 24 at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.

The 37-year-old Brooke mentioned that distancing herself from her father’s affairs was a way to prevent potential disputes with other family members, like her mother, Linda Hogan, and Hulk’s third wife, Sky Daly.

Brooke voiced her concerns about Linda’s tendencies to get involved in complicated issues, noting she had heard that Linda was closely associated with Scientology, an organization viewed as having a strong influence.

“I don’t want to argue with Linda or deal with Scientology,” she said. “I just don’t know how complicated this can get.” It was clear that she found the situation intimidating and preferred to step away.

Brooke emphasized that she holds no ill-will, remarking that she’s “fine every day.” She hopes her father would trust her judgment regarding his intellectual property and brand, believing she made the right choices.

Reflecting on her father’s legacy, she remarked, “I would have created a legacy like Elvis or Marilyn Monroe. I hope anyone managing his brand does it well. I know some people around him might not have his best interests at heart.”

Interestingly, Brooke was absent from Hulk’s wedding in 2023. They had their last conversation just two weeks prior to that event.

In a heartfelt Instagram post the following week, she expressed, “You are everything I am, and I will always be your daughter. For all the love and light you’ve brought into this world, I will continue to cherish that.”
