Gabbard Believes in Possibility of Aliens
Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, recently shared her thoughts on extraterrestrial life during an appearance on a New York podcast. She indicated, quite candidly, that she thinks aliens are probably real.
In a discussion on Miranda Devine’s “Pod Force One,” when asked about her beliefs regarding aliens, Gabbard responded simply with, “Yes.” This reply seems to suggest a willingness to entertain the idea of extraterrestrial possibilities.
Gabbard, who previously ran for the Democratic presidential nomination and has since shifted to the Republican party, is a significant figure in President Trump’s intelligence community and serves as a principal advisor on intelligence matters.
When pressed further about her thoughts on potential alien encounters, she mentioned needing to be cautious with what she divulges in her role. “I have my own opinion,” she remarked, adding, “In this role, I need to be careful about what I share.”
She expressed having many questions regarding unusual drone sightings in New Jersey from the previous year, acknowledging the ongoing intrigue surrounding such incidents. Interestingly, U.S. national security officials had attempted to downplay concerns about these sightings, with one FBI representative referring to public reactions as a “slight overreaction.”
According to reports, more than 60 UFO sightings were documented across various states in the first half of 2025, contributing to ongoing discussions about what might be happening in the skies.
“I still have a lot of questions around it,” Gabbard said, emphasizing her curiosity. “I heard what the official line is,” she continued, indicating dissatisfaction with the provided explanations. She underscored that these sightings weren’t limited to New Jersey, as similar occurrences have been noted in various regions.
In addressing concerns about alleged Chinese spy balloons seen across several states in 2023, Gabbard pointed out that there’s significant classified information within the U.S. intelligence community relating to those incidents.
Despite the ongoing dialogue, the Pentagon has clearly stated that there is “no verifiable evidence” supporting the existence of extraterrestrial technology or life.
Gabbard, however, remained tight-lipped about specific details concerning the balloons when speaking on the podcast.
