Tragic Death of Manhattan Fashion Entrepreneur

Marsanolan Osratara, a 33-year-old fashion entrepreneur from Manhattan, known for her upscale bikini brand and vibrant social media presence, was discovered deceased on a boat moored at an exclusive marina on the eastern shore of Long Island.

Authorities are currently investigating her untimely death, which took place early Tuesday morning near the Montauk Yacht Club, as per the Suffolk County Police Department.

Police reported that East Hampton town officials received a 911 call shortly after midnight from a man who reported finding an unconscious woman on a vessel docked along Star Island Road. A Good Samaritan tried to perform CPR before emergency responders arrived, but sadly, the woman was declared dead at the scene.

On Wednesday, police confirmed that the deceased was identified as Nolan, a diligent entrepreneur.

Authorities have stated that initial evaluations regarding the cause of death have turned out to be “inconclusive,” and a firm determination will be made following an autopsy from the Suffolk County Medical Examination.

Reports indicated that a witness at the Montauk Yacht Club heard screams coming from the dock late Monday night.

Nolan, who hailed from Carlow, Ireland, was the founder of East X East, a boutique resort wear brand that has gained traction on social media, particularly TikTok, where she showcases her design and photography processes. In one behind-the-scenes clip from a campaign in Mallorca, she described her project as a “beautiful love story” and expressed her joy at seeing her vision come to fruition.

In her most recent social media update, she shared a video from her July pop-up event at Gurney’s resort in Montauk, captioned with “goals achieved,” reflecting on her marketing efforts in the Hamptons.

According to her LinkedIn, Nolan moved to New York City at 26, having completed her Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s in Digital Marketing from Dublin University College.

The Suffolk County Murder Squad is leading the investigation, and anyone with details is urged to reach out to a detective at 631-852-6392.

A spokesperson for the Montauk Yacht Club, where the boat was docked, confirmed the incident but did not share further information. “We are deeply saddened to learn about the incident,” they commented. “Our team is cooperating with law enforcement as they continue their investigation, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.” No additional comments were provided at this time.
