Tyreek Hill’s eight-month-old daughter was taken to the emergency room in Miami after experiencing symptoms of illness, according to his estranged ex-wife, Kita Vaccaro. Following a domestic dispute, Vaccaro filed for divorce from Hill on April 8. She shared that their daughter, Capri, began feeling lethargic, prompting her to call Dr. Jared Friedman, a pediatrician in Miami, who quickly advised them to seek emergency care. Fortunately, by Thursday, Capri was reported to be feeling much better.
Vaccaro expressed her fear on Instagram, detailing that Capri had become warm and unusually sleepy. She posted a photo of herself in a hospital gown, thanking Dr. Friedman for his prompt response: “I called @drjaredmiami and within a few minutes he took us straight to the ER.”
“I really appreciate the kind of care that’s available late at night like this. She’s doing much better now,” Vaccaro added. She also shared a screenshot of a text conversation with Dr. Friedman.
When she sought directions to the pediatric entrance, the doctor assured her that they’d take care of everything, saying, “They are ready for you. Just head over to registration, and everyone’s waiting for you.”
Vaccaro didn’t provide further updates on Capri’s health condition. Meanwhile, the Dolphins announced that Hill missed practice that Wednesday due to a “non-public injury.”
Later, he was seen boarding a private plane for the team’s preseason game against the Bears, even smiling and signaling peace in a video posted by the Dolphins on their official social media.
Vaccaro, who cited her marriage’s problems as “irreparably broken” in her divorce filing, has faced other reports regarding the family. An incident was reported where an aggressive Hill threw his laptop and approached a balcony, leading to a 911 call, although police decided against making an arrest, stating that the daughter seemed healthy.
The Dolphins confirmed they were in communication with Hill amid trade rumors during the offseason. He mentioned in May that he had been attending church and seeking treatment recently, emphasizing his dual role as a father and team leader: “My job is to be a great father to all of my kids and to be the best player I can be.”
In a lighter note, Hill was recently spotted holding hands with a woman during a day by the pool in Orlando. He and Vaccaro got married in November 2023 during the Dolphins’ bye week and participated in the first season of Netflix’s “Wags to Riches,” which premiered in January.
