Jordon Hudson made an unexpected call to Charlotte Wilder, and it didn't go well.

It’s unclear when Jordon Hudson feels ready for a chat on the phone.

This was something podcaster Charlotte Wilder learned a few weeks back when the 24-year-old girlfriend of Bill Belichick, who has sparked plenty of conversations, dialed in during an episode of Madison Hill’s “Sports Gossip Show,” which Wilder co-hosts.

As things progressed, the conversation got a little strange.

The call kicked off at 9:07 PM on a Saturday, with Hudson introducing himself as “Your Universe President,” a line that Wilder explained was a quirky reference to their discussions about Hudson competing in the Miss Maine Pageant.

Wilder mentioned that her husband initially thought she was joking. But nope, it was really Hudson.

She was left puzzled about what Hudson was aiming for, saying she found herself using the term “word salad” to describe the message he was trying to convey.

Eventually, Hill jumped into the mix, and the three have engaged in multiple calls together.

There was an interesting vibe; Hudson’s tone had a friendly ring, but you could sense some tension lurking beneath.

Hudson even suggested he might fly to New York to meet them in person, though the timing didn’t align, and that plan fell through.

Interestingly, she hasn’t been thrilled with the attention regarding her relationship with the 73-year-old Belichick, who has had a storied career. In fact, she reached out to Wilder and Hill to vent her frustrations during the show.

It seems she hadn’t watched the whole Miss Maine episode before calling.

“She’s yelling at me. There were tears. She had just finished watching the episode and didn’t like our commentary,” Wilder recounted. “I was like, ‘What were you expecting? Did we think we were just chatting about the Miss Maine episode without you?'”

Wilder expressed feeling a constant sense of anticipation, waiting for something unexpected to happen.

Even though the former cheerleader from Bridgewater State didn’t interview Hudson, he mentioned that he was addressing their on-air discussions, indicating he wanted to “save her from her own troubles.”

Wilder was taken aback, asking, “What are you doing?”

“You can’t behave like this, not in our role. That’s just not how it works,” she added.

Since their relationship came to light in June 2024, Hudson has become a topic of intense scrutiny as Belichick prepares to embark on his inaugural season as head coach of the University of North Carolina.

Belichick, a seasoned coach with eight Super Bowl wins, has had to reiterate that Hudson “has nothing to do with UNC football,” particularly after navigating a challenging interview on “CBS Sunday Morning” last April.

As Hudson and Belichick remain in the spotlight, the Tar Heels are set to kick off their season against TCU on September 1st.

Players have downplayed the distraction, appreciating the “support” from Hudson, even though they don’t often see her around the team.
