Jordon Hudson Talks About Her Image
Jordon Hudson clearly has a strong sense of self-worth.
She’s the girlfriend of renowned soccer coach Bill Belichick and recently shared her thoughts with two journalists, expressing pride in her comparison to Tree Payne, a prominent public relations figure for Taylor Swift.
“I love saying it’s like a bill tree paine,” the 24-year-old reportedly told podcaster Charlotte Wilder during a Thursday episode of her show, “Sports Gossip Show.”
Co-host Madeline Hill remarked that Hudson’s self-acknowledgment was quite bold, calling her “iconic” and noting her ongoing support.
Since 2014, Payne has been integral to Swift’s success, helping navigate some challenging situations in her public image. Hudson, on the other hand, has a degree in philosophy from Bridgewater State University but no formal PR experience, as stated on her LinkedIn profile.
A fellow college alum mentioned to Wilder that Belichick has enjoyed a positive public image lately, thanks in part to Hudson.
“Everyone loved Bill’s media presence before I realized I was behind it,” she reportedly told the host.
Yet, back in April, Hudson faced criticism when CBS aired a moment during an interview where she interjected with, “We’re not talking about this,” when asked about how she and Belichick met. The negative reactions from commentators included accusations of “age abuse” directed toward Hudson, and even some of Belichick’s family expressed concern.
Jennifer Schmidt, daughter-in-law to the head coach of North Carolina’s Tar Heels, commented on Instagram urging professionals to maintain decorum during interviews.
Despite the backlash, Hudson defended her stance on social media, emphasizing her commitment to protecting Belichick’s privacy.
Belichick, who is 73, affirmed Hudson’s role, stating that she maintains “personal and professional relationships” with him, and he urged a shift in focus on their discussions.
However, Wilder and Hill mentioned on their podcast that Hudson’s attempts to manage coverage of her participation in the Miss Main Pageant could backfire professionally.
“She wants intense control without realizing you never have it, so you need to choose a different strategy,” Wilder noted, reflecting on the challenges her co-host faced scheduling an interview with Hudson.
Hill added that Hudson seemed to be acting as if she was the “president of your universe” during her initial call.
Attempts to reach Hudson’s representative for a response were unsuccessful.
