Saquon Barkley's dance in Madden NFL 26 becomes a sensation

Madden NFL 26 Features New Celebration Inspired by Trump

The upcoming Madden NFL 26 is set to feature a distinctive touchdown celebration that gained popularity among players last season. Notably, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Block Bowers thrilled fans in 2024 with a post-touchdown dance mimicking President Donald Trump.

It seems that future installments of the game will have a digital version of the Philadelphia Eagles, showcasing running back Saquon Barkley performing the dance. In one session, Jalen Hurts throws a pass to Barkley, who dashes into the end zone and dives into the Signature Tramp Dance after scoring.

Barkley’s connection with Trump isn’t just professional. Earlier this year, he visited the White House to celebrate the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory. The day before the celebration, he was spotted at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey with the president. Trump, during a media interaction, playfully remarked about Barkley being a “nice guy” and expressed a desire to race him, though ultimately opted out.

After some backlash regarding his association with Trump, Barkley addressed the situation on social media. He commented that some were upset over him playing golf and visiting the White House, stating that, “Maybe I’m not just a respectful person for the office; it’s not a difficult concept to understand.”

Recently, Barkley declined an invitation to join Trump’s council on sports and fitness, mentioning that the idea caught him off guard and that his family felt it might be best not to accept, given their busy schedules. He noted, “I was definitely a bit shocked when my name was mentioned, but I think it’s great.”

Trump has also named other prominent figures, including Bosa and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, to this council.

Madden NFL 26 is set to officially launch on August 14, although some players began accessing it earlier this week.
