If you’re sensing that familiar buzz in the air, it’s likely because NFL football is back!
Okay, well, technically it’s NFL preseason football… but, you know, it’s still football. On Thursday night, there were three games: the Baltimore Ravens took down the Indianapolis Colts, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Seattle Seahawks and Las Vegas Raiders managed to end in a 23-23 tie.
During the Eagles game, backup QB Tanner McKee really impressed, completing 20 of 25 passes, throwing two touchdowns, and adding another on the ground. On the Bengals side, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase showed some solid form, with Burrow hitting nine of ten passes and also tossing two touchdowns. Chase racked up 77 yards on four receptions.
Now, about Sunday night… The Buffalo Bills will kick things off on September 7, hosting the Baltimore Ravens at 8:20 PM on NBC and Peacock. Are there any preseason games before that? Good question.
