Marma Seeks Young Fan’s Protection
During a recent concert in Mexico City, Colombian superstar Marma paused his performance to address a mother who had brought her baby to the show without ear protection.
Marma, aged 31, inquired about the baby’s age before expressing his concern. This interaction was captured in a video that circulated online.
“Do you really think it’s a good idea to take a one-year-old baby to a concert with such high decibel levels?” he questioned. “That baby doesn’t even know what he’s doing here,” he pointed out emphatically.
Continuing, he suggested, “Next time, please, protect your ears or something. It’s heavy. It’s your fault.” Marma, a father to a one-year-old daughter named Paris, mentioned he would never take his own child to such an event.
He added, “You’re waving them like they’re toys. That baby doesn’t want to be there; I say this with all my love and respect.” The crowd responded positively to his remarks, indicating agreement.
Currently, Marma is on his +Pretty +Dirty World Tour, which is set to wrap up soon in Rosalito, Mexico.
He and his girlfriend, Susana Gomez, welcomed their daughter Paris in March 2024. “At 8:23 AM on March 9th, Paris Rondono Gomez’s love was born,” he shared on Instagram back then, expressing gratitude for the joy of fatherhood.
“Thank you for realizing my greatest dream of becoming a father,” he had written to Gomez at the time.
