Recap of Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 7
The latest episode really put relationships, friendships, and loyalty to the test—my patience as well! It’s funny, I never thought I’d end up defending something I really didn’t like—Paradise—yet here I am. After all the buildup, Brian finally told Bailey about Jeremy’s feelings for Susie. Honestly, it turned out to be more shocking than I had anticipated, marking one of the biggest twists of the season!
The “Secret Rendezvous” challenge was significant, although no one actually went on a date this episode. So, what happened after Brian revealed the tea about Jeremy and Bailey? Who came out on top in this week’s challenge? And, importantly, who got sent home? Well, we’ve got the scoop!
Who Won the Challenge in Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 7?
Host Jesse Palmer set the scene with contestants in booths, wearing headphones, and jotting down answers on personal chalkboards. The couple with the most matching responses earned immunity from the dreaded Rose Ceremony, meaning someone would be leaving soon. Not winning left a few contestants feeling quite vulnerable!
If anyone matched five questions with someone who wasn’t their partner, they got the chance to connect later for some compatibility exploration. But honestly, after seven episodes, the couples seemed pretty solid. The drama fizzled out; the twist wasn’t as thrilling as it once was.
Lee and Jonathon—often seen as the platonic duo of Paradise—won the challenge. Quite amusing, really! Everyone who matched shared a good laugh about being with someone who was already friends with their current partner. Brian, wanting to share his scoop on Jeremy’s comments, nudged Bailey to “consider” some things…
What Happened After Brian Spilled the Beans?
That night, Brian reached out to Bailey, but she didn’t accept his invite to talk. Instead, she woke Jeremy to fill him in, which honestly felt like a bad move. Brian still grabbed her for a chat, and when Bailey asked about Jeremy, Brian mentioned some not-so-nice comments from Jeremy regarding Susie. Finding out that “half of the people” in Paradise had known about this and hadn’t told her left Bailey emotional, and she expressed wanting to go home.
She woke Jeremy again, and they tried to work things out. Meanwhile, Parisa told Alexe about Brian spilling the tea, and suddenly everyone started seeing Brian as a snitch. Quite the turn of events! Jeremy, in damage control mode, somehow convinced Bailey to reconsider their relationship. Even though he—and a handful of others—knew things that shouldn’t have been kept quiet, the situation brought a heartfelt twist that summed it up well:
“I feel like I’m on some crazy drugs here. Jeremy dresses down Bailey when he makes a call to another girl, saying, ‘Hey, I’ll leave Paradise with you today when you come back!’ Isn’t that a huge red flag? Look, I get the Bro Code, but defending Jeremy feels a bit like Douchebag Code at this point.”
Who Went Home? Summary of the Rose Ceremony in Bachelor in Paradise Season 10, Episode 7
After a tally of 18 votes, Jesse called out the guys to hand out their roses. In a surprising twist, Brian and Parisa were safe, but fan favorites Faith Martin and Kim Buick were voted out by their fellow contestants.
It looks like the Brian/Jeremy saga is set to continue next week, and I’m curious about Faith and whether Kim is still in the mix in Paradise!
