Odell Beckham intends to play in 2025 despite false retirement claims.

Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t hanging up his cleats just yet.

Following the false rumors of his retirement, which surfaced the day before, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero shared on X that Beckham is still training and attracting interest from multiple teams for a potential return in 2025.

It’s reported that he’s actively preparing to get back on the field soon.

On Tuesday morning, a parody account mocking ESPN’s Adam Schefter spread the misleading news, claiming that the three-time Pro Bowler had decided to retire from the NFL.

The account posted, “After 10 seasons in the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. has decided to retire.” It went on to list his time with the Giants, Browns, Rams, Ravens, and Dolphins.

Beckham quickly refuted the claims in a response, saying, “Laughter wtf… when was it announced? It’s funny, it’s appreciation for the concern, but this shxt is not finished yet,” reflecting a lighthearted yet firm stance on the situation.

At 32, he remains a free agent after playing nine games with the Dolphins last season, where he had limited impact with just nine receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown.

Beckham started his NFL journey with the Giants in 2014, being drafted 12th overall and earning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award that same year.

He was later traded to the Browns in March 2019 and subsequently played with the Ravens, Rams, and Dolphins.

Over his 10 seasons, Beckham has recorded 575 receptions for 7,987 receiving yards and 59 touchdowns. Notably, he won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2022.
