Several countries across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa are encouraging President Donald Trump to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, with the White House highlighting this support as proof of his status as the “president of peace.”
The nations mentioned in a recent list from White House officials include leaders like Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Mane, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, among others.
“President Donald J. Trump is the president of peace,” stated an official caption.
Recently, Trump played a key role in addressing long-standing tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“We finally achieved peace. We left the Oval Office after signing numerous critical documents related to the agreement,” Trump remarked on Friday.
Countries in Western Asia have embraced what is being called the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity,” which ensures that Azerbaijan has “full access” to the Nakichevan region, located to the southwest of Armenia.
“Armenia and Azerbaijan are committed to ceasing all hostilities indefinitely, enhancing commercial, travel, and diplomatic relations, and honoring each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Trump added.
There have been reports of Trump facilitating a significant peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia as well, following a violent border dispute that affected over 150,000 individuals just last month.
Following a phone call between Cambodia’s Prime Minister Manet and Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetong Tarun Sinawatra, an announcement was made that they had agreed to swiftly resolve the ceasefire and work towards lasting peace.
In Africa, both leaders Nguema in Gabon and Nduhungarrehe in Rwanda expressed that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in ending decades of conflict between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
“Everyone, including President Trump, plays a role in resolving this issue,” was a sentiment shared with Breitbart News less than a day after they signed a peace agreement involving the DRC’s Thérès Kayi Kwamba Wagner and the U.S. State Department.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio significantly contributed to this agreement, and later, all parties joined Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance in the Oval Office to commemorate the deal.
Similarly, Nguema noted, “I believe he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize because he is fostering peace in places where it seemed impossible. That’s my view.”
Prime Minister Netanyahu informed Trump that he received a nomination letter during a dinner at the White House earlier this July, following a brief conflict involving Israel and Iran.
He presented Trump with a copy of the nomination, which Trump described as “very meaningful.”
Pakistan has also nominated Trump, recognizing him for “Decisive Diplomatic Intervention and Vital Leadership” in mediating a ceasefire between Pakistan and another country.
A post from the Pakistani government earlier this June commended Trump for demonstrating “strategic foresight and outstanding governance” in managing a crisis situation through effective diplomacy with both Islamabad and New Delhi.
