Taylor Swift Remembers Her First Meeting with Jason Kelce

Taylor Swift’s initial meeting with Jason Kelce was certainly one to remember.

During a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce, Swift reflected on her early interactions with Jason’s family during a January 2024 playoff game in Buffalo.

“Did you know I was told to do my best?” Jason, 37, asked Swift, 35, in an eagerly awaited segment.

Swift responded, “I didn’t know what you were told,” mentioning that she had overheard him using the phrase with his young daughter.

“I recall one of the first things I heard you say to (wife) Kylie… She asked, ‘Can’t you do that now?’”

Fortunately, both Jason and Travis reassured everyone at the table that the story didn’t ruin the day.

“Meeting you was just like I imagined, and Kylie is just as incredible as I expected,” Swift said, expressing admiration. “You’re both so relatable, so sharp, and just amazing.”

This memorable day took place on January 21, 2024, when the Bills hosted the Chiefs in the divisional playoffs.

Jason made headlines during that game when he celebrated shirtless at Highmark Stadium, jumping into the stands after the Chiefs scored, which didn’t sit well with his wife.

Swift recalled that moment vividly, saying, “I swear, Jason, you flew out of that window at Lightspeed. I love this new world Travis has introduced me to. It’s just so exhilarating!”

Jason seemed to enjoy his time with the Bills Mafia before the game, famously even drinking bowling balls.

“This is how my mind works after being around all those lights,” Jason mentioned previously. “When I jumped out of that box, I landed funny and twisted my knee a bit, but I was lucky, so I forgot I was dealing with an MCL sprain.”
