Taylor Swift’s Influence on Kansas City Chiefs

Clark Hunt, the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared insights on how Taylor Swift’s presence has impacted his team. In an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” he discussed the implications of her relationship with Travis Kelce, who plays as a tight end for the Chiefs, after their appearance on the “New Heights” podcast.

Hunt had only positive remarks about Swift, acknowledging her significant influence in boosting the number of female fans for the Chiefs. “It’s been a whirlwind for the organization over the last two years since Taylor literally stepped into our lives,” he said. He noted that the fanbase used to be about evenly split between genders, but now, 57% of their fans are women, a statistic he believes is likely the highest in the NFL.

Additionally, Hunt expressed his happiness for Kelce and Swift as a couple, stating, “Let’s say how happy we are in their relationship. They’re a great couple, and watching them together is really special.” He found their podcast discussion about their relationship to be quite meaningful.

During her recent guest appearance on the “New Heights” podcast, the 14-time Grammy winner reflected on her early days in the NFL alongside Kelce. She shared a memorable moment when he invited her onto the field after the Chiefs won the AFC Championship Game in 2024. “I was like, ‘What are you doing, what do you mean? Where are we going?’ And she said, ‘We’re going to the field,’ and I said, ‘Did he say it’s okay?’ Because we hadn’t talked about this,” Swift reminisced.
