Scott Wolf Addresses Divorce and Allegations

Scott Wolf has recently spoken out following his decision to file for divorce from his estranged wife, Kelly Wolf. The 57-year-old actor, known for his role in “Party of Five,” expressed a desire to keep this challenging chapter in their family life private. However, he also emphasized that his children’s happiness takes precedence, which is why he felt compelled to speak up.

In a statement, he mentioned, “There are some significant challenges that complicate our situation and make it controversial. It’s tragic for everyone involved.” He added that he was made aware of a disturbing allegation from Kelly that he believes to be completely false.

Scott shared that he received text messages from Kelly listing various claims against him, including serious accusations like psychological and child abuse. He revealed that she seemed to outline a plan to “submit” these claims, even though she had doubts about their truthfulness.

He stated, “In an effort to safeguard my child, I’m providing the messages she sent me, which reveal her intentions regarding these allegations.” Scott suggested that Kelly was advised—presumably by someone—to consider making these claims to intensify the urgency around their custody arrangement for their children.

The couple reached a temporary custody agreement on July 15, granting Scott sole physical custody of their three children, aged 16, 12, and 11. He expressed concern about the claims made against him, calling them “unfounded” and “incredibly dangerous.” He noted that such accusations could have traumatic effects on the children, urging anyone commenting on the situation to think carefully before spreading potentially unreliable information.

Scott continued to advocate for privacy for their family, thanking those who have offered support during this difficult time. According to the July agreement, Kelly is allowed supervised visits with the kids, along with a limited number of phone or video calls.

The former couple made their split public on June 10, after 21 years of marriage, with Kelly sharing an update on Instagram about their ongoing separation. Shortly afterward, she was taken into police custody, leading to a brief stay in a mental health facility, reportedly due to comments made that raised concerns.
