Document revealing gift and menu from Trump-Putin summit found at hotel printer

Confidential Documents Left Behind Before Trump-Putin Summit

WASHINGTON – A surprising incident occurred when an eight-page document, containing details like President Trump’s gift for Vladimir Putin and the planned lunch menu, was reportedly left at a hotel printer in Anchorage just hours before the highly anticipated Ukrainian Peace Summit.

While the leak didn’t unveil any critical security information—most of the summit agenda items concerning the Elmendorf-Richardson military base were already known—it quickly attracted media attention after being highlighted by various news outlets.

Guests at the Captain Cook Hotel, a four-star establishment, discovered the documents at a public printer.

One page showcased a lunch menu that was ultimately scrapped, which featured filet mignon in a brandy peppercorn sauce, alongside a salad dressed with champagne vinaigrette.

Additional pages listed the names and photos of attendees expected to participate in the expanded discussions between U.S. and Russian representatives.

Moreover, Trump had plans to present a statue of the American Bald Eagle to Putin and had included three contact numbers for staff coordinating the event.

Though the White House had made many of the scheduled meetings public in advance, the plans changed when Trump stepped back from proposing an immediate ceasefire, shifting instead to a broader goal of achieving a comprehensive peace deal.

Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky is set to address Putin’s proposal on Monday at the White House, discussing the possibility of relinquishing the remaining parts of Donetsk in exchange for significant international peacekeeping support, which would involve engagement from British and French forces to counter Russian advances.
