Halle Berry’s Tropical Birthday Getaway
Halle Berry didn’t let a few clouds spoil her birthday fun. The actress, who turned 59, made the best of the dark skies and took a refreshing swim in the beach, accompanied by a large inflatable yellow duck.
Dressed in a striking red lace Wuwila warrior set, she splashed around in the private pool of her water villa. Berry shared moments from her trip, including a birthday bikini photo, which, let’s be honest, was quite a turn from her glamorous red carpet looks.
The “Catwoman” star floated in the water, enjoying coffee days after her birthday on August 14th. “Make the most out of your cloudy day,” she wrote alongside several photos posted online.
A glimpse into her tropical vacation was also shared, showing her and musician boyfriend Van Hunt relaxing poolside. Berry looked effortless in a simple bikini, sipping from coconuts and soaking in the vibes.
She captioned one post, “Hmm…! Cooking, cleaning, mother,” which seems to echo comments made following an appearance by her ex-husband, David Justice, on a recent podcast.
While discussing their past, Justice mentioned that he had a somewhat limited understanding of Berry at the time, describing their relationship as “not vast.” He recalled her inclination towards traditional roles, mentioning how that didn’t align with her personality during their marriage.
Berry and Justice tied the knot in 1993, and the marriage ended four years later due to “incompatible differences.” They got divorced in 1997, and since then, Berry has moved on, having two children with former partners: Nahla with Gabriel Aubry and Maceo with Olivier Martinez.
In 2020, Berry informed fans through Instagram about her relationship with Van Hunt. The couple has been together for about five years now, and marriage isn’t something they’re rushing into. “We don’t feel we need to marry to prove our love in any way,” she said, offering insight into her perspective on love after multiple marriages.
It’s clear that Berry’s experiences have shaped her views on relationships, and as she celebrates life, it seems she’s content, embracing the moment.
