Who Was Eliminated in Episode 8 of Season 10 of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?

Bachelor of Paradise Season 10, Episode 8 Recap

Episode 8 of Bachelor of Paradise Season 10 revolves around some intense beach politics, as Chief Paradise Strategist Shaun McLaughlin tries to navigate a complex social scene.

Host Jesse Palmer introduced a new challenge focused on communication, with stakes involving both love and a hefty $500,000 prize. Following an unexpected “secret rendezvous,” contestants found themselves voting to eliminate two couples. Among those under scrutiny were platonic pairs Keith and Kathy, along with Lee and Jonathon. The question on everyone’s mind: Did Sean’s strategic maneuvering influence the vote? And did he and his partner Alicia manage to weather the storm?

With just 12 contestants left by the end of episode 8, the pressure is mounting. So, who won this week’s challenge, and which couples were sent home? Stay tuned for the details!

Who won? Bachelor of Paradise Season 10, Episode 8 Challenge Results

The challenge turned into a treasure hunt! Couples were split up, with one partner tasked to find treasure, solve puzzles, and collect keys while the other remained trapped in a large treasure chest, following instructions through a training talkie. The couple that completed the task the quickest would earn a date along with immunity at the rose ceremony.

Three couples—Alicia and Sean, Bailey and Jeremy, and Spencer and Jess—successfully completed the challenge. Who came out on top? That would be Spencer and Jess, who emerged as the strongest duo, earning a week of immunity and a romantic one-on-one date filled with tantra yoga. Quite the emotional scene!

Paradise Strategy Session

Sean, the so-called “paradise politician,” dived deep into strategizing against his rivals, making appeals for votes and seeking alliances. He revealed that growing up with a politician father taught him how to navigate tricky situations. He even attempted to rally the others around a “Paradise Congress” to target their biggest threats: Spencer and Jess.

However, as the episode unfolded, the consensus among the guys seemed to sway towards maintaining genuine connections rather than betraying their partners. Despite Keith pondering voting for a chance at real love for Cathy, Sean’s aggressive tactics burned several bridges.

Before announcing the eliminated couples, Alicia reflected on their experience: “Shawn and I came to paradise looking for love. We didn’t expect all this. We’ll continue our journey in Tampa with some popcorn to watch everything unfold.”

As they exited, both Alicia and Sean tried to leave gracefully despite the tension. Jesse confirmed that Jonathon and Lee, the other platonic couple, were safe, while Parisa and Brian were sent home. Until next time!
