It turns out that Bill Belichick’s ex-girlfriend, Linda Holiday, wanted his current girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, removed from a holiday party in Nantucket last December.
In a situation that became a bit messy, Erin Hilderbrand, a novelist and friend of Holiday, was among those encouraging Hudson to leave. It’s worth noting that this was particularly poignant, as Holiday’s twin daughters had passed away, which made Hudson’s presence felt as inappropriate by some attendees.
“There were no fights or hair pulling,” Hilderbrand recounted to The New Yorker in a piece about Belichick’s life released recently. “But it just seemed really wrong for her to be there, given the circumstances, so we suggested she leave.”
Interestingly, there’s a dynamic here where Belichick and Holiday were together for 16 years before their separation in September 2023. Belichick and Hudson’s romance began after they met on a flight in 2021, with their relationship becoming public in June 2024.
Hudson had also attended the party with a friend Miss Massachusetts USA 2024, Melissa Sapini. As the night wore on, both were asked to leave, and they complied without any fuss.
Holiday, however, declined to comment to The New Yorker.
The incident apparently drew media attention a few months later, when TMZ obtained an internal incident report from the event. This document clarified that Hudson was considered a “paid guest” and no concerns had arisen regarding her behavior prior to the request for her to leave.
Holiday felt that Hudson’s presence was especially distressing since the party was widely advertised as one honoring her daughter.
Footage from the event showed Hudson in a confrontation near the dance floor involving Holiday and Hilderbrand. Initially, Hudson was resistant to the request to leave, insisting she hadn’t done anything wrong, but eventually agreed to vacate the premises.
Hudson made a comment about feeling threatened by Holiday’s group of friends, suggesting the situation felt a bit charged.
In her defense, Holiday expressed, “I don’t think I would have reacted this way had it not involved my daughter. My ‘mama bear’ instincts kicked in.”
Earlier this month, the two women had another encounter at a fundraiser for Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
