Donald Trump recently shared a post on Truth Society following an appeals court’s decision to abandon a prior ruling against him.
He hailed it as a “complete victory,” asserting that it was clear evidence of election interference by various cities and states, which he claims attempted to make his actions appear illegal, when, in fact, he believes everything he did was justified and “perfect.”
A complete victory in the dubious New York Attorney General Leticia James case! I’m grateful that the courts had the bravery to overturn this illegal and dishonorable ruling that had negatively impacted businesses across New York State. Many were apprehensive about conducting business there. The total amount, with interest and penalties, exceeded $550 million. This was, in essence, a political witch hunt aimed at me in a business context. It’s something unprecedented. They were trying to portray my actions as illegal when everything I did was right. All those funds have already been spent, and the fines imposed by judges notorious for their overturning are just ridiculous. I was not granted a fair judge, and the trial dragged on longer than it should have, but the ruling upheld by this politically motivated judge was beyond belief. Letitia James, the Attorney General, seemed solely focused on causing me political harm. She’s, well, a bit obsessed with me. They bound me to a level of scrutiny that has never been seen before; it’s unacceptable, and everyone knew it! Critically, the votes against the earlier ruling were 5 to 0. I must commend Judge David Friedman for his wise insights. I also want to thank the court for having the courage to make this decision. This episode will likely go down as one of the greatest business persecutions in our country’s history. Sadly, there are other similarly disgraceful cases led by corrupt judges like Juan Merchant, who benefited from crooked contributions from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, yet refused to recuse himself from these blatantly corrupt trials. Even the editorial board recommended against pursuing this! Judge Merchant even issued a gag order, preventing him and his daughter from speaking or allowing the appeals judge to hear certain evidence they wanted to present. Many lawyers noted the significant conflict of interest he created. This entire process, where his friends and family attended his trials, was brazen. Judge Lewis Kaplan has been as antagonistic as anyone I’ve encountered. The case should not have gone to appeal, and he should be reprimanded for judicial abuse. He relished the attention and wouldn’t let us present our evidence. This judge, appointed by Clinton, shouldn’t be able to escape accountability for this fraud…
All these actions aimed to undermine my viability as a presidential candidate before, during, and after the election. They align closely with the Biden/Harris campaign and will be remembered as one of the most corrupt episodes in history. The other cases are even more absurd than Leticia James’ case, and it’ll all be revealed soon. The judges involved should be embarrassed; they acted as political operatives doing everything to impede my candidacy. This was a direct attack from the Biden/Harris administration against political foes: me, me, me. Despite the adversity, I’m honored to withstand it, persevere, and aim for the presidency once more. I send my thanks to my son Eric Trump and numerous members of the Trump organizations for their relentless pursuit of justice. My legal team never backed down despite the odds. What a significant day for New York City and the state!
