Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly Return for Yellowstone Spinoff

Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly are stepping back into their familiar roles as Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton in a new “Yellowstone” spinoff currently known as “The Dutton Ranch.” This upcoming series will follow events that unfold shortly after the finale of “Yellowstone.”

According to the premise, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler—having battled through struggles and challenges on their expansive 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch—are grateful for the peace they have fought for. However, they must navigate difficult times and fierce competition to survive.

Joining the cast is Academy Award nominee Annette Bening, who will portray Beulah Jackson, a formidable and captivating head of major ranches in Texas. Additionally, Finn Little will reprise his role as Carter, adding to the returning cast.

Taylor Sheridan, the mind behind “Yellowstone,” will produce the show along with Hauser and Reilly. The executive production team also includes David C. Glasser and a number of others, hinting at a robust creative force behind the series.

Besides “Yellowstone,” Sheridan has already created the prequels “1883” and “1923.” There’s also anticipation for another series titled “The Madison,” featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, set to launch this year.

In a recent conversation, Hauser expressed confidence in Sheridan’s vision for the future of Beth and Rip’s relationship, indicating that exciting developments are on the horizon. He mentioned, “I know there are a few things coming up, and I’m eager to see where we’re headed.”

Meanwhile, in a past interview, Reilly suggested that fans shouldn’t take every rumor too seriously. She emphasized her focus on wrapping up the current storyline, hinting that Beth’s journey is far from over. “I’m just worried about finishing the main show,” she said, underscoring her dedication to the ongoing narrative.

The second part of “Yellowstone’s” fifth season launched in November, culminating in a finale that aired in December. As the universe of “Yellowstone” expands, viewers eagerly await what lies ahead for their beloved characters.
