Release Date and Viewing Options for 'Thunderbolts' on Disney+

Nearly four months after the theatrical release, Thunderbolts* is now available on Disney+.

In Thunderbolts*, a group of five differing characters from the MCU—comprising both heroes and villains—find themselves caught in a perilous scheme masterminded by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. They must collaborate on a risky mission that pushes them to confront their darkest pasts, in hopes of achieving any kind of progress.

Meghan O’Keefe, a senior reviewer, noted that Thunderbolts* may be one of the MCU’s best, emphasizing that character development is prioritized over lore this time around.

“Florence Pugh’s captivating performance infuses energy into this eclectic team and keeps viewers engaged. Sebastian Stan’s portrayal of Bucky transitions him into a genuine leader within the MCU ensemble, while Wyatt Russell’s performance offers depth and complexity to his character,” she commented.
