Attorney General Fires DOJ Employee for Inappropriate Conduct

Attorney General Pam Bondi recently dismissed a Department of Justice employee following an incident involving a member of the National Guard in Washington, D.C.

As reported by the New York Post, Elizabeth Baxter, who worked in the department’s environmental division, allegedly admitted to flipping off a security guard at Metro Center Metro Stop. She reportedly told the guard, “F–k the National Guard.”

Later that same day, Baxter was captured on DOJ security footage making the obscene gesture towards the National Guard and shouting, “F–k you!” The footage also revealed her demonstrating to a security guard exactly how she held up her middle finger.

Bondi addressed the situation, stating, “Today, I took action to terminate a DOJ employee for inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members in DC.” She emphasized the DOJ’s commitment to supporting President Trump’s agenda, declaring, “If you oppose our mission and disrespect law enforcement, you will NO LONGER work at DOJ.”

On August 25th, Baxter reportedly returned to work and again expressed her disdain for the National Guard, telling a security guard to “F–k off!”

In her termination letter, Bondi confirmed, “You are removed from your position of Paralegal Specialist, GS-0950-11, Environmental Defense Section, Environment and Natural Resources Division, and from the federal service, effective immediately.” This followed an investigation into her conduct.

The Trump administration had previously increased the presence of federal law enforcement in D.C. to tackle crime, deploying hundreds of federal agents alongside National Guard troops as part of a federal initiative.
