Charlie Woods’ Latest Hole-in-One

Charlie Woods, son of golf icon Tiger Woods, recently scored another hole-in-one during the Junior Championships at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The 16-year-old executed a solid tee shot on the par-3 third hole, sending the ball soaring 177 yards straight onto the green.

As the ball hit the green, he watched eagerly, and, much to his delight, it rolled right into the hole. This moment led to an enthusiastic celebration with his playing partner at the tee box.

Though he finished the tournament at seven over par, which was outside the top leaderboard, the hole-in-one added a memorable highlight to his performance. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time he’s achieved this feat; he made his previous hole-in-one while participating with his father at the PNC Championship back in December 2024.

Tiger Woods had recorded 20 holes-in-one throughout his stellar career, but only three occurred in official PGA Tour events. Despite not winning the Junior Championships, Charlie found success earlier this year, having triumphed at the Team Teilol Maid Invitational at the Streamson Resort Black Course in Bowling Green, Florida. That win marked his initial American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) victory.

In fact, Charlie has a growing list of accomplishments, including winning the 14-15 age group at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour championships last June. He also qualified for the US junior amateur last summer, although he didn’t make it past the cut that time.

With such a notable father, expectations surrounding him are enormous. But there’s no denying he has the talent to carve out a promising career of his own in professional golf.

Tiger Woods boasts 82 professional victories, alongside titles like the Masters, the US Open, and the PGA Championship. This impressive count is tied for the highest in history.
