TCU’s Bad Clark Takes Aim at UNC Coach’s Girlfriend After Season Opener Loss
During TCU’s season opener, a significant 48-14 loss to UNC, veteran safety Bad Clark made the game a bit more personal.
In a lively Instagram livestream, Clark took a jab at UNC head coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who was celebrating in the visitor locker room at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill. “Belichick has to call out his girlfriend,” he said in the livestream. “…He’s sad,” he added, showcasing his competitive spirit.
Clark also made headlines for his athletic performance, grabbing a pick six, marking his 12th career interception, contributing significantly to TCU’s walk-in touchdown against UNC.
Hudson, who manages Belichick’s career opportunities outside of football, was spotted on the sidelines before the game.
The game itself attracted a notable crowd, including NBA icon Michael Jordan, Hall of Famer Randy Moss, and retired college basketball coach Roy Williams, all drawn to Belichick’s coaching debut with the Tar Heels.
Leading up to the match, much of the media attention was focused on Belichick’s new role. TCU’s coach, Sonny Dykes, mentioned feeling that his team was somewhat underestimated. “We wanted this game to be us, and that was it,” he remarked. “I think we all felt a bit underestimated. We had a lot of conversations about this game, but none of it was about us.”
Next up for the Tar Heels is a matchup against the Charlotte 49ers on Saturday, while TCU will enjoy a week off before hosting Abilene Christian on September 13th.
