Pink Optimistic Despite E. Coli Diagnosis on Vacation

Pink, the singer behind “Lady Marmalade,” has managed to stay positive even after facing a challenge on her vacation. She disclosed that she had been diagnosed with E. coli while traveling with family and friends.

Alesia Moore, known as Pink, shared her recovery journey by posting a photo of herself resting on the couch, receiving IV fluids. She made an effort to enjoy the situation, jokingly mentioning kicking her friend and sipping some red wine.

In her Instagram post, she reassuringly stated, “This is all normal and everything’s really well.” When reflecting on her unexpected health issue, she humorously noted, “When you go on vacation, and E. coli decides to move into your gut, you kill it with your friends, daughters, red wine, and vitamin IV formula.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), E. coli is commonly found in various environments, including food, water, and the intestines of humans and animals. Although some strains are harmless, others can lead to serious ailments like diarrhea and urinary tract infections.

Pink’s incident emphasizes how some E. coli infections are contracted through food or water contamination, as well as contact with animals and contaminated environments. She whimsically concluded her post with, “Yeah, life, lemon and lemonade, and some great memories I might remember.”

Despite this setback, Pink is gearing up for her “Trustfall Tour,” which began in October 2023 in support of her latest album. However, her journey hasn’t been without its hurdles, as she’s had to deal with various health issues that led to the cancellation of several shows on doctor’s orders.

Pink, a mother of two—daughter Willow Sage and son Jameson—continues to push through the challenges, showcasing her enduring spirit through her music and performances.
