Recently, Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun enjoyed Labor Day weekend at Lake Tahoe, California. Sources indicate they wanted to, well, take the opportunity to understand each other better during their holiday from Friday to Monday.
An insider noted that Braun appreciates the time spent with Sweeney and is curious about where things may lead. However, representatives for both didn’t immediately provide comments when reached.
While some sources characterized their relationship as “casual,” others mentioned that it’s still a “new” dynamic for them. There’s a sense that they’re just figuring things out, which is interesting, right?
Another insider shared that Braun, 44, seemed quite taken with Sweeney, 27, during Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding back in June when they were seen together in Italy.
Apparently, Braun has been pursuing Sweeney since that wedding, especially since she had recently ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino roughly four months earlier. Sweeney reflected in an interview about learning more about herself and cherishing time with friends, so perhaps this new romance aligns with that personal exploration.
To add to the intrigue, in April, Sweeney garnered attention for getting close with her “Housemaid” co-star, and she had a cozy moment with Machine Gun Kelly in Las Vegas shortly after. In July, she was also spotted enjoying a jet ski ride with a mysterious man in Idaho.
As for Braun, he finalized his divorce from Yael Cohen in 2022 after seven years of marriage, which included welcoming three children—sons Jaguar, 10, and Levi, 8, and daughter Hart, 6. When their divorce was settled, he agreed to a $20 million arrangement.
