Haley Cabinder is excited about her fiancé’s upcoming season with the Cowboys.
On Thursday, the former guard for the Miami Hurricanes showcased how her fiancé, Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson, is gearing up for the 2025 NFL season opener. They’ll be facing the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Eagles, in Philadelphia.
Ferguson donned specially made “Awakening Mode” pants with “Ferguson” emblazoned on the back. His twin sister, Hannah, also joined in, wearing an outfit that paid tribute to the Cowboys logo. She even shared a video of herself pretending to stretch, as if ready for the game.
“I’ll warm up to join Eagles Stadium as a Cowboys fan,” they posted together on social media.
Haley and Jake got engaged in April, after dating for almost two years.
“The easiest love,” she expressed on Instagram back then.
Just three months later, Ferguson, who was picked in the fourth round of the 2022 draft, signed a four-year contract extension worth $52 million with Dallas.
“I’m so proud of this guy!!” Cabinder shared on social media in July. “I’m going to support Ferg and the Cowboys.”
Ferguson played in 14 games last season, logging 59 receptions for 494 yards.
After a disappointing 7-10 record last year, the Cowboys aim to make a statement this season, especially with the recent changes to their roster, including the departure of Mika Parsons.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reflected on trading Parsons saying, “I really like Mika. I’m grateful for the four years we’ve spent together. He’s an incredible player.”
Jones further added that while the decision may have seemed drastic, it was in the organization’s best interest, not just for the future but also for the current season, highlighting the importance of acquiring a Pro Bowl player for their defense.
The Cowboys traded Parsons, who recently signed a hefty four-year, $188 million contract with Green Bay, in exchange for two first-round picks from the Packers.
The Cowboys are set to host Parsons and the Packers in week four of the season.
