Levin Shares Insights Into His Show Preparation
Fans often reach out to inquire about how Levin preps for his show. While he keeps some elements of his planning under wraps, he does share glimpses into his process.
In a recent episode of “levintv,” he encouraged his audience members to take a front row seat and observe him in action.
He started by flipping through the pages of the Washington Post, jokingly referring to it as the “Washington Compost.” With a hefty stack of articles in hand, he quipped about how many trees had given their lives for such content.
As he scanned the headlines, his commentary included biting remarks like, “A liberal wrote this,” “These folks are clueless,” and “Who cares?” Each statement was delivered with the confidence of a veteran comedian.
He didn’t shy away from discussing the paper’s controversial past, reminding viewers that it was a publication that, at one point, concealed the Holocaust.
Shifting to a prominent story titled “We Do the Right Things: Determined Judges in Our Pressure,” he noted the enthusiasm of the paper in criticizing Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas. He also referred to a Brazilian judge as a “left-wing cook,” dismissing their stance.
Moving on, Levin brought attention to an article in the Style section titled “The Future of Book Reviews is Strict.” He emphasized his own book, “Power”, which was a New York Times bestseller. He pointed out that despite having nine bestsellers, the New York Times hasn’t reviewed any of them—”they just don’t exist,” he said.
