Divorce Filed Amidst Turmoil
Christine Cabot has formally ended her marriage to Andrew Cabot. Speculations are swirling, with some calling it “karma,” reflecting sentiments from those close to the couple.
At 52, Christine filed for divorce just weeks after a viral moment at a Coldplay concert, where she was seen canoeing with her boss. It seems their relationship was already fragile, as Andrew appeared to remain unfazed by the news of Christine moving on.
Julia Cabot, Andrew’s ex-wife, shared that when she reached out to him, he responded nonchalantly, stating, “her life has nothing to do with me.” Now, they are reportedly separated.
Julia added, “Despite being married and living together, he insists they don’t relate to him at all. His main concern seems to be finances,” she noted.
Interestingly, Julia weighs in on Christine’s role, suggesting, “She’s not exactly the ideal partner either.” Documents indicate that Christine submitted paperwork to dissolve their marriage on August 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
This marks Andrew’s third divorce. He is known as the CEO of Privateer Rum and hails from a prominent Boston family. Julia described him as self-centered, claiming, “I’ve received numerous messages saying ‘karma’—it’s almost as if it’s a fitting response to his situation.” She doubts Andrew is genuinely troubled by the unfolding events.
Julia remarked, “His ego is too inflated for this to bother him. He’s just embarrassed—nothing more.” She candidly said, “He’s not a good person. Something negative has now come back to him.”
There are whispers suggesting Andrew may have been living a façade of marriage. He was abroad in Japan during the canoe incident, unaware of his wife’s public display of affection with Andy Byron, the astronomer CEO.
A family insider claimed that the couple’s problems date back months, although they recently professed their love. The situation seems to be unfolding with a bit of drama; if Julia’s prior divorce is any indication, this one could be similarly tumultuous.
Andrew’s last marriage to Julia lasted two years. He cited an “irreparable breakdown” as the reason for that separation, which followed significant conflict. Julia eventually moved out, leaving behind a home valued at around $1.9 million and a luxury car.
No immediate comments have been received from either Julia, Christine, or Andrew regarding this situation.
The couple had recently invested in a $2.2 million home in New England, a four-bedroom property, before this public fallout.
