Fans went wild when Travis Kelce was hit by the Chargers' Teair Tart in an unexpected incident.

Swift’s name was on everyone’s lips after Teair Tart collided with Travis Kelce during the game on Friday night.

The pop star’s dedicated fanbase made their presence felt, flooding Tart’s Instagram with comments supporting Swift and her engagement to Kelce.

One Instagram user, under the handle @longlivetstk87, commented on Tart’s post, “You should probably apologize for not letting Travis go last night.”

Another user chimed in, “We’re not joking around with Kira,” suggesting they were serious about protecting Kelce.

A different commenter added, “I hope it was worth cursing your whole family,” a reflection of the intense fan emotions surrounding the incident.

This confrontation took place in the third quarter of the Chargers’ 27-21 win in Brazil.

Kelce, after the play, pushed Tart, who then responded by hitting Kelce’s helmet.

After the game, Tart shared a classic skit from “Chappelle’s Show” on his Instagram story, featuring Rick James and Charlie Murphy, which quickly caught the attention of fans.

He was penalized for unnecessary roughness, giving the Chiefs a big advantage as they moved to the 11-yard line, setting up a touchdown run for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Despite the slap, the referee decided against ejecting Tart, noting that it was an open-handed contact to the head, which didn’t meet the criteria for disqualification.

According to the broadcast, Walt Anderson, an NFL rules analyst, clarified that this was not considered a serious infraction, as it was neither a closed fist nor a punch.

Kelce wrapped up his performance in the season opener with two catches in the fourth quarter, totaling 47 yards, including a notable 37-yard gain.

Interestingly, Swift did not attend the game in Brazil, likely due to their engagement announcement just last month.
