Jasmine Crockett Critiques Trump and Democratic Messaging

Representative Jasmine Crockett from Texas is finding it challenging to keep her anti-Trump rhetoric fresh, noting that he continually echoes outdated Democratic talking points. During a conversation with California Governor Gavin Newsom, she made a remark about the situation.

“It’s amusing actually, I was watching ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ and thought, how is this even feasible? It feels almost too close to home. We’re witnessing this militarization that clearly ignited in your state,” she said.

Crockett expressed her intention to visit places governed by Black women, mentioning again the pervasive themes of racism and vitriol she associates with the current administration.

Stu Burguiere, host of BlazeTV, reacted to Crockett’s comments, likening her rhetoric to something you might expect from a plot twist in an M. Night Shyamalan film. “I didn’t see the racial claims coming,” he remarked.

He went on to question whether Democrats might eventually attempt to pivot away from literary references like “The Handmaid’s Tale,” hinting at a potential fundraising effort.

Interestingly, he suggested that Crockett’s lack of genuine engagement with literature was evident. “It seems she hasn’t even bothered to pretend she’s read a book,” he added, while Glenn noted that Democrats are already trying to steer clear of certain terms.

Glenn pointed out that the Democratic National Committee is in the process of identifying words to avoid. Terms like “privilege,” “microaggressions,” and “LGBTQIA+” are among those being flagged. “These words are now off-limits, compelling them to start fresh,” he explained.
