Body Found in Vehicle Registered to Singer D4VD
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is looking into a distressing incident involving a body that was discovered inside a vehicle tied to singer D4VD. Officers responded to the scene in the 1000 block of N. Mansfield Avenue on Monday around 12:30 PM, following reports of unpleasant odors emerging from the car.
According to ABC7 News, authorities were led to a Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard, where the body was reportedly found.
Details from ABC7 suggest that the body of an individual was located in the vehicle’s front trunk, which is registered to David Anthony Burke from Hempstead, Texas. An LAPD spokesperson confirmed the investigation has started but refrained from commenting on the vehicle owner’s identity, stating, “There is no information about the owner of the vehicle.”
Furthermore, police mentioned that the body had been placed in a bag, and the vehicle had been locked up for several days. Additional information regarding the deceased has not been released.
D4VD, who has amassed over 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify, is quite popular, with a notable presence on TikTok as well, where he has over 3.6 million followers. His debut album was released earlier this year, featuring hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” both of which went viral.
Currently, he is set to perform on Tuesday in Minneapolis as part of his “drinking” world tour, which began in August. As of now, D4VD has not made any public statements regarding these unsettling circumstances.
