Nick Hogan, the son of Hulk Hogan, has disclosed that his father left $5 million in assets, as per court filings after his passing.
In documents submitted recently, it was revealed that his daughter, Brooke Hogan, is notably absent from the list of beneficiaries. The information was reported by a media outlet.
The wrestling legend, known as Terry Borea, passed away on July 24th in Clearwater, Florida, after experiencing acute heart failure and having a previous history with heart rhythm issues. He was 71.
Nick, who is the son of Hulk’s first wife, Linda Hogan, filed paperwork on September 9th to be named co-representative of his father’s estate.
According to the documents reviewed, Nick indicated that his father’s will was established in 2016 and underwent four amendments, with the last changes made in July 2023.
He also mentioned having filed a lawsuit against Baba the Love Sponge, primarily to prevent the release of his father’s sex tape, along with pursuing other unspecified damages.
In his efforts, Nick has sought assistance from McCoy to navigate legal matters related to the estate.
Recent legal actions include a lawsuit Nick initiated against a proposed documentary, claiming it violated Hulk’s copyright and involved a sex tape with Baba’s then-wife, Heather Clem.
Legal documents indicate that Nick is the sole heir designated to inherit his father’s estate.
Although Hulk’s widow, Melanie Skye Daly, was named as a surviving spouse, Brooke’s presence as a beneficiary is unremarkable. Reports suggest that she had requested to be excluded from her father’s will in 2023, citing distrust towards those around him.
The documents detail various assets: $200,000 in cryptocurrency, around $800,000 in personal and intellectual property, $4 million in publicity rights, and the prospect of a potentially valuable medical malpractice claim.
Interestingly, Nick did not include his father’s real estate holdings in this document. Consequently, the court appointed McCoy as the administrator for Hulk’s real estate portfolio.
Hulk Hogan was known to possess two adjacent properties in Clearwater, valued at approximately $11 million.
In response to Nick’s lawsuit, Bubba the Love Sponge asserted, “They are suing the wrong people,” and expressed disbelief over the claims.
Bubba further commented, “This lawsuit is meaningless to me. Nick, how much money do you want?”
