Tyrrell Hatton celebrated wildly and suffered a terrible hangover after securing his Ryder Cup place.

Tyrrell Hutton had quite the evening, but the morning after was definitely one for the books.

On Wednesday, he took a stroll, reflecting on how he had made it to the European Ryder Cup team this month. It was a big deal. By the time evening came, he awoke in a 33-year-old’s bed, excited about competing at Beth Page Black.

“I think I had, like, six glasses of wine at dinner and then followed it up with a double gin and tonic. I was feeling it quite normally. John decided on a Disaronno Sour,” Hutton shared, as reported by ESPN.

“They were taking it easy, and I, uh, was starting a little chant about someone getting dropped. The cocktails kept coming, but then we ran out of Disaronno.”

Things took a turn for the worse when Hatton finally called it a night.

“When I got back to my room, I just lay down on the bed, fell asleep like that, and woke up in the same position. I think I dozed off for a bit, then the alarm for my flight went off. It was a bit of a panic,” he admitted.

In the midst of the chaos, Hatton managed to contact his wife, Emily.

“I was like, ‘I really don’t know what to do here.’ Basically, I scrambled to leave the room before I headed out. Yeah, I stripped the bed, left some cash, and wrote a note.”

Currently, Hatton is preparing for his fourth Ryder Cup, seven years after he first competed in Paris.

He secured his spot as one of six automatic qualifiers, joining names like Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose.

Earlier this month, Team Europe captain Luke Donald also selected players like Matt Fitzpatrick and Jon Rahm.

“Getting that call was just awesome,” he expressed. “Honestly, I was over the moon.”

The Ryder Cup is set to kick off on September 26th.
