His death marks a tragic loss for a man dedicated to engaging others through dialogue and advocating for free speech, a sentiment echoed by former President Donald Trump in a statement made on social media.

The news of Kirk’s passing resonated with thousands online, attracting tributes from notable figures, particularly in the sports community. NFL players such as Lamar Jackson, Brett Favre, Des Bryant, Golden Tate, Elijah Moore, Harrison Butker, and Antonio Brown expressed their condolences. Even YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul joined in, honoring Kirk alongside UFC fighters like Renato Moicano and Paulo Costa.

Tim Tebow, the national college football champion and Heisman Trophy winner, shared his thoughts, highlighting Kirk’s faith and familial role. “I’m shocked and heartbroken over Charlie’s passing,” Tebow wrote. “Above all, he was a husband and a father, passionate in his commitment to making a lasting difference. Demi and I are praying for Erica, their two kids, and everyone who cared for him.”

The rookie quarterback for the Giants took to Instagram to share his outrage. “This is just ridiculous! I’m so fed up with this!” Dart posted. He continued, “Let’s pray for his family! Charlie contributed so much to our nation! We must end political violence! This is just heartbreaking!”

Brett Favre, a Hall of Fame quarterback, described Kirk’s murder as “tragic.” Other current and former NFL players noted their sorrow as well.

“Hearing about Charlie Kirk made me feel sick! We’re living in turbulent times!” remarked ex-Seahawker Golden Tate.

Des Bryant, a former Cowboys player, voiced his concern over the reactions to Kirk’s death, saying, “It’s troubling to see some people celebrating this. My love goes out to his family.”

Lamar Jackson retweeted a message from former Raven Torrey Smith, urging people to remember Kirk during these troubling moments.

Robert Griffin III, former Redskin and ESPN analyst, pointed out the senselessness surrounding Kirk’s death.

Tim Brando, a broadcaster, commended Kirk for representing young conservatives, emphasizing the void his absence will create. “He was instrumental for his generation, albeit I never met him, but I know how impactful he was.”

Luke McCown, another former NFL quarterback, called Kirk a “brother in Christ.”

Reportedly, Kirk was shot once from a nearby rooftop during his appearance in Utah as part of his American comeback tour. He was 31 years old and left behind two children.
