Tennis player Andy Murray's brother separates from his wife after 15 years.

Jamie Murray, who is the brother of former world No. 1 tennis player Andy Murray, has divorced his wife, Alejandra Gutierrez, after 15 years together. They had been separated for a year prior to finalizing their divorce in August, as reported by a spokesperson for Jamie.

At 39 years old, Jamie, a seven-time Grand Slam champion, has started using Raya, a dating app popular among celebrities, to meet new people.

“Jamie and Alejandra Murray divorced on August 22, 2025, after having separated the previous year,” the spokesperson confirmed.

A spokesperson added, “Like any divorce, this is a very challenging time for both Jamie and Alejandra, and they would appreciate privacy as they navigate what lies ahead for their family.”

The couple shares a three-year-old daughter named Ava.

On his Raya profile, Jamie describes himself as an athlete who travels the world for tennis, featuring images of him and Andy playing together.

He has secured seven Grand Slam titles in men’s doubles and mixed doubles from 2007 to 2019.

A family friend expressed sadness over the situation, stating they are trying to remain amicable for the sake of co-parenting. “It’s unfortunate,” the friend noted. “They’re both making an effort to keep things friendly.”

Interestingly, Andy, who is also a three-time Grand Slam winner and recently retired, mentioned his plans to pursue golf. He’ll be participating in the British Open regional qualifying rounds.
