Following the shocking assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, many on the left took to social media to express their glee and mock his death. A new site called Charlie’s Murderer has been set up to expose those who reacted negatively in light of Kirk’s tragic end.
Kirk was fatally shot during a speaking event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, and his death appears to be politically driven. Vigils have since been held in his honor, where many attendees voiced their disbelief over the event and offered prayers for his wife and young children.
While a number of sympathies poured in, several individuals on the left reveled in Kirk’s murder. Social media platforms became crowded with messages that celebrated his assassination, leading to the creation of Charlie’s Murderer to document these posts.
For instance, news reporter Olivia Rondeau noted a Florida anesthesiologist who took to social media, expressing her relief that “Charlie Kirk had just shot himself,” also stating that “no one should commit death.” Rondeau wrote:
Dr. Tatiana N. Atkins, affiliated with Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, posted a distressing video on her Instagram shortly after Kirk was assassinated. She later deactivated her account, but the video had been shared by a Miami-based podcast.
According to online health records, Atkins is set to practice at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Virginia and St. Lucie Hospital in Florida. She stated, “I’m so glad that Charlie Kirk was shot, because he’s right. Empathy is dangerous for society, so not everyone should care that he’s dead.”
When someone in the background protested her comment, Atkins defended her words by saying, “I’m just quoting him. You can’t be upset with me for that.”
Rondeau also highlighted a Pennsylvania teacher who shared a post normalizing “Trumpism,” labeling Kirk a “mouthpiece for white nationalists” who didn’t deserve empathy. The post that was circulated read:
“Charlie Kirk was the mouthpiece of racist, xenophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, sexist white nationalists who made millions inciting hatred in this country.” The statement was circulated by a far-left page.
Dodson, the teacher, emphasized that her empathy is “reserved for his children,” wishing they grow up in a country that starkly contrasts their father’s ideology.
New websites are now tracking these celebratory posts about Kirk’s death, encouraging submissions from those who come across them. Charlie’s Murderer is particularly focused on identifying individuals who have publicly expressed delight over his assassination, with many appearing to work in education or government sectors.
Those interested in contributing to the site can reach out with specific information, including personal details, screenshots of their profiles, and posts celebrating Kirk’s death.

In addition, the FBI is still on the lookout for key suspects involved in Kirk’s murder. They have issued a call for tips that could prove valuable in the investigation.
In a post on X, the FBI stated, “We’re collaborating with local and state law enforcement in Utah to thoroughly investigate Charlie Kirk’s tragic shooting. Any information, photos, or videos regarding the incident can aid us in answering critical questions.”
