Two of the top boxers today are set to face each other for the first time.
On Saturday, September 13th, Canelo Valles, who holds the Ring Magazine’s super middleweight title, will step into the ring against undefeated Terrence “Bad” Crawford in what promises to be a monumental TKO boxing match at the Raiders Home—also known as Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The winner will take home titles from the Ring, WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO.
“This fight marks the end of my career,” Crawford, 37, said, speaking of his perfect record of 41-0. “…I want Canelo Alvarez.”
Interestingly, these two elite fighters have never met before. This is mainly because Crawford typically fights at 154 pounds, while Alvarez fights at 168. However, in this match, they’ll both contest at 168.
“Greatness means everything to me now,” Crawford expressed. “I have a chance to do something that hasn’t been accomplished before—to be a champion in discussions of three different men’s weight categories.”
Alvarez had also commented on Crawford when the fight was first revealed, saying, “Crawford is one of the best out there… It’s an honor to share the ring with such talent.”
The excitement is palpable as fans hunt for last-minute tickets for Alvarez vs. Crawford.
As of now, prices for entry-level seats start at around $324, which includes various fees.
If you’re aiming for a closer view of this historic matchup, lower-tier tickets begin at $615.
Although pricey, these rates are significantly lower than what we reported four months ago regarding the initial costs for this anticipated bout.
Interestingly, 100-level seats are now nearly $1,000 cheaper than they were back in May.
