Reports indicate that Robinson faces serious charges, including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a weapon, and obstruction of justice.
Ormond mentioned that officials are assessing whether Robinson poses a threat to himself or others and whether he might be considering suicide.
“It’s unclear if he made statements indicating suicidal thoughts. Some law enforcement sources reported that Tyler suggested he would choose suicide over cooperating with police,” the outlet stated.
Additionally, it was reported that Robinson has a transgender partner. Mayor Cox acknowledged that Robinson’s roommate is a “romantic partner” who is transitioning to female and mentioned that Robinson left behind a note. During an appearance on CNN, Governor Cox confirmed these details regarding the roommate’s transition.
Cox said, “Yes. I can confirm that. It’s been reported, and the FBI has corroborated it. The roommate is indeed a romantic partner and is transitioning to female.”
Cox also suggested that Robinson may have left a note behind.
Jud Hoffman, vice president of the gaming platform Discord, noted that there was communication between the suspect’s roommate and a friend after the incident, wherein the roommate shared details about the note left by Robinson.

In the wake of her husband’s death, Erica Kirk expressed her grief on Friday, stating, “The person responsible for my husband’s death doesn’t understand the magnitude of their actions. They took Charlie’s life for promoting messages of patriotism, faith, and God’s mercy.”
She added, “If they think my husband’s influence was significant before, they truly have no idea what has now been set in motion across this country and the world. They don’t grasp the fire this has ignited within me.”
