Over 110,000 Paris Hilton Mini Beauty Fridges have been recalled after reports of at least 27 incidents where the appliances overheated and potentially caused fires, as per federal safety regulators.
The Consumer Product Safety Committee indicated that an issue with the electric switch in these fridges could lead to overheating.
Manufactured in China, these fridges were imported by Epoca International, located in Boca Raton, Florida.
The affected models include both 4-liter and 10-liter versions, available in various colors, all produced before August 2024.
The products were sold at Walmart, Ross stores, and various online retailers, including Amazon, from November 2022 through July 2025, according to the CPSC.
Consumers are advised to stop using the fridges immediately and remove them from their homes.
To obtain a refund, owners should visit Epoca’s recall website and may need to provide proof of purchase. Additionally, they’ll need to send a photo of the recalled unit, along with its model and serial number label, and cut power cord.
Epoca is offering full refunds, and the recall notice lists specific affected serial numbers.
The larger units include the pink model PH11887 and the white model PH11887-1, with serial numbers beginning in 2024.
The 4-liter models span several colors: Aqua (PZB02-E001), Hot Pink (PH12540), Pink (PZP01-E001), and White (PZW01-E001). Their serial numbers range from 202206 to 202406, with some pink units extending to 2024070420.
Owners can find the model and serial number labels on the back or bottom of the fridge.
Neither Epoca nor Hilton, known for her reality television fame and extensive brand ventures, have responded to requests for comment.
This recall comes after multiple consumer complaints about the fridge overheating, with the CPSC confirming at least 27 cases.
Marketed as “beauty fridges,” these compact units are typically used for storing cosmetics and skincare items.
For further assistance, consumers can reach out to Epoca International via phone or check their dedicated recall page.
The committee highlighted that using these fridges poses a significant risk of fire and burns to households.
