Fine states that those rejoicing over Kirk's death should be removed from 'civil society'

Rep. Randy Fine’s Call for Action After Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

Rep. Randy Fine, a Republican from Florida, is rallying a movement against individuals in the Sunshine State who work for the government or are affiliated with licensed organizations and who openly celebrate the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

After taking office following a special election earlier this year, Fine expressed his belief that these individuals should be removed from “civil society.” He highlighted that if you work in any government capacity across Florida, you’ve likely encountered someone who publicly endorses violence and profits from government funding, whether in healthcare or education.

He stated, “If I don’t think I’m serious, I was fired because of the lack of two state directors. Do these monsters want a fight? Congratulations. They got one.”

Interestingly, Elon Musk seems to back Fine’s remarks and initiatives, even sharing Fine’s posts with a supportive emoji. This has sparked conversations about the attitude some individuals take towards Kirk’s death, with Fine noting incidents involving teachers and professionals celebrating what happened.

Rep. Clay Higgins from Louisiana has also chimed in, voicing his intent to address those who commend the assassination. He mentioned that he would push for significant repercussions on social media platforms, advocating for zero tolerance on violent content.

Higgins went further, suggesting that businesses related to these individuals should be subject to blacklisting and that their driving licenses could be revoked. He expressed a strong desire to hold accountable those who, in his view, celebrate acts of political violence.
