Eli Manning Surprises Fans at Savannah Bananas Game

Open your eyes and see a big blue!

Eli Manning made a surprise appearance during the Savannah Bananas game on Sunday at Yankee Stadium.

Things took a turn at the bottom of the fifth inning when a ground ball resulted in a controversial call from the first base umpire. The firefighter manager quickly challenged the decision, pushing for the umpire to reconsider.

Yet, the situation transitioned from tense to comedic as it became apparent that the umpire wasn’t just any official—it was the legendary Giants quarterback.

“We welcome two Super Bowl champions for New York giant Eli Manning,” shouted Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole, prompting an eruption of applause from the crowd.

Manning, who earned two Super Bowl MVPs in his 16-season career with the Giants, humorously donned a referee’s uniform, momentarily trading in his iconic Royal Blue Jersey, number 10.

He entertained the fans by tossing footballs into the stands and unveiling a yellow banana t-shirt, even throwing his Giants jersey to the crowd.

With the next installment of “Manningcast” not set to air until next week, Manning embraced the family-friendly atmosphere of the event.

On Monday morning, he shared fun moments with his three kids from the festival on Instagram, captioning it, “I defeated this undercover investigation. Thanks to @thesavbananas!”

But Manning wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance; nearly 50,000 fans enjoyed seeing iconic Yankees manager Joe Torre at Saturday night’s game. The excitement continued on Sunday, as Yankees legend Nick Swisher took to the plate, though it was Manning’s antics that truly captured the spotlight.
