Trump Files $15 Billion Lawsuit Against The New York Times
Donald Trump is taking legal action against The New York Times, seeking $15 billion in damages.
He described the newspaper as “one of the worst and most degenerated newspapers in our country’s history,” claiming it serves as a “mouthpiece” for extreme left Democrats.
Trump expressed his frustration, stating, “They’ve been lying, smearing, and attacking me for too long. This has to stop; it’s unacceptable and illegal.” He emphasized that the paper has a long history of manipulative reporting.
In a recent post, he remarked, “Today, I’ve become, according to them, a radical left Democrat ‘mouthpiece.’ This has led to an honor and libel lawsuit against The New York Times. Their support for Kamala Harris is prominently featured in their reporting. For decades, they’ve spread falsehoods about me, my family, my business, and the America First Movement. I’m determined to hold them accountable for these actions. The lawsuit will be filed in Florida, and I appreciate your attention to this matter. Together, we can make America great again!”
This isn’t Trump’s first legal battle with media outlets. Recently, he has also initiated other lawsuits over what he claims are false or misleading reports.
According to reports, Trump is pursuing multiple honor loss lawsuits against various media companies and has claimed damages in these cases. He specifically called out ABC News and its anchor, George Stephanopoulos, related to a 60 Minutes segment.
He has encountered setbacks, with losses of $15 million and $16 million in recent cases. Additionally, he has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal for an article linking him to Jeffrey Epstein.
