During President Trump’s second visit to England, a peculiar incident unfolded when activists projected images of him alongside the late financier Jeffrey Epstein onto Windsor Castle as he arrived.
The projected visuals included Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Epstein, and highlighted various convicted sex offenders, alongside media articles detailing victims, police reports, and criminal cases. According to reports from Hill’s sister network, News Nation, authorities arrested four individuals related to the disturbance.
Thames Valley Police commented, stating, “We take illicit activities around Windsor Castle very seriously.” They added that their team acted swiftly to halt the projections, confirming the arrests, and noted, “We are conducting a thorough investigation with our partners regarding the circumstances of this incident and will provide further updates as they become available.”
Windsor Castle, known as the oldest and largest castle globally, remains accessible to visitors year-round. Established in the 11th century by William the Conqueror, it has served as a residence for 40 monarchs.
A notable quote displayed beside the castle reads, “I was Donald’s closest friend for ten years.”
Trump and the First Lady spent the night at Winfield House in London, which serves as the US ambassador’s residence.
The president has consistently denied any connection to Epstein, who died in a New York prison cell in 2019. Trump has asserted that he expelled Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago estate upon learning of his illicit activities while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.
The situation resurfaced earlier this year when a joint memo from the Justice Department and the FBI stated they would not make their client list public, declaring Epstein’s death a suicide and indicating no need to release further documents.
Trump has also pursued legal action against the Wall Street Journal, particularly concerning a signature he reportedly made in a “Birthday Book” that was gifted to Epstein on his 50th birthday. The White House insists that this signature was forged.
Since July, demonstrators expressing their opposition to Trump’s previous associations with Epstein have been active throughout London.
