Demi-Leigh Tebow Shares Her Thoughts on Motherhood and God's Unwavering Love

Demi-Leigh Tebow Reflects on Motherhood and Faith

Demi-Leigh Tebow, the wife of former NFL player Tim Tebow, shared her thoughts on how motherhood has transformed her after welcoming her first child, daughter Daphne Lane, in July. “People often say that the love you feel as a parent is unlike anything else, and I can totally connect with that,” explained Tebow, who is also a former Miss Universe. “I feel like I’m learning so much through her every day. It’s like I’m reliving life through her little eyes and celebrating all the small milestones.”

Recently, she announced her new book, Knowing Who God Is: 100 Days from Unbreakable Faith, which she dedicated to her daughter. This book is set to release on September 16th.

“Becoming a mother means that you might not have the time to read a 300-page book,” she noted. “But this kind of prayer—short, digestible pieces—was exactly what I needed. It’s something for busy, everyday women to pick up and incorporate into their lives.”

Each of her journal entries features Bible verses, reflections, and prayers. There are also weekly themes focused on courage, vulnerability, joy, and self-worth. Tebow emphasized the importance of starting each week by addressing false beliefs that could undermine one’s self-worth and replacing them with biblical truths.

“It’s really easy to compare ourselves to others,” she said. “And that can make us doubt our value. But as followers of God, we’re already chosen and loved. That’s what truly matters.”

She mentioned that her daughter shifted her understanding of God’s love. “We learn from the Bible that God loves us, but feeling that overwhelming love through a baby is something different. It was really humbling to realize that God’s love for me is even greater.”

Tebow also discussed the significance of her daughter’s middle name, Rain. “From the moment we knew we were expecting, we prayed she would lead with purpose, not just power. Her life will reflect God’s calling.”
